  • At Parkway Christian Academy, we offer an academically rigorous curriculum rooted in a biblical worldview, preparing students for both college and career. Through carefully selected materials from BJU Press, Positive Action for Christ, and other trusted resources, our courses are designed to provide a strong academic foundation as students progress from 9th to 12th grade, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in life and honor God in all they do.

  • Students explore Christian faith, biblical principles, and spiritual growth through engaging lessons and scriptural study using curriculums from BJU Press and Positive Action for Christ:

    • 9th Grade: Dynamic Christian Living – Foundational Christian principles and personal application.

    • 10th Grade: Life of Christ – In-depth study of Jesus’ ministry in the Gospel of John.

    • 11th Grade: Bible Doctrines – Core Christian doctrines and biblical worldview development.

    • 12th Grade: The Inner Man – Christian leadership, spiritual growth, and apologetics.

    • Dual Enrollment: Options to dual enroll with Southeastern University.

  • Students develop critical reading, writing, and analytical skills through literature and grammar instruction.

    • English I:Fundamentals of Literature – Conflict, character development, and moral tone.

    • English II:Elements of Literature – Literary analysis, worldviews, and writing development.

    • English III:American Literature – Historical survey of American literary periods.

    • English IV:British Literature – In-depth exploration of British literary history and themes.

    • Dual Enrollment: Options to dual enroll with local universities.

  • Courses build problem-solving and analytical skills with biblical applications in mathematical reasoning.

    • Algebra I – Fundamental algebraic concepts and functions.

    • Algebra II – Advanced algebraic equations, polynomials, and trigonometry.

    • Geometry – Geometric principles, proofs, and coordinate geometry.

    • Precalculus – Functions, trigonometry, statistics, and introductory calculus.

    • Consumer Math – Practical financial skills, budgeting, and stewardship.

    • Dual Enrollment: Options to dual enroll with local universities.

  • Students explore scientific concepts with hands-on learning and a biblical worldview.

    • Biology – Study of living organisms, cells, and ecosystems.

    • Human Anatomy & Physiology – Structure and function of the human body.

    • Chemistry – Study of matter, atomic structure, and chemical reactions.

    • Physics – Application of physics principles through real-world challenges.

  • Students have the opportunity to explore language and culture based on their interests and course availability, all through a biblical worldview.

    • Spanish I & II – Language and cultural studies.

    • French I & II – Language acquisition and cultural appreciation.

  • Students complete a year of Physical Education and Health, where they focus on fitness, wellness, and sports activities, while also receiving a Christian-based education on health and overall well-being.

  • Students can explore interests and develop skills in various disciplines with biblical worldview. Course offerings are based on student interest and availability.

    • Art – Visual creativity and hands-on artistic expression.

    • STEM – Problem-solving through science, technology, engineering, and math.

    • Band – Ensemble performance and musical development.
